Adrian Barei - Physiotherapist

Adrian studied physiotherapy at the University of South Australia, graduating in 1994. He started his career at the Modbury Hospital working across all inpatient and outpatient rosters. In 1996 he started out in private practice in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, working in various clinics over the next 7 years.

In 1997 and 1998 I was the team physiotherapist for the Burnside Rugby Union Club and also looked after the St Peters Old Collegians Football Teams in 1999.

In 2003, with a group of colleagues bought an existing clinic on Magill Road, which was rebranded as STAR Physiotherapy. STAR Physiotherapy was a great success, doubling its clientele within the first year and expanding services to include physio treatments, Swiss Ball classes, ante and postnatal exercise classes and clinical Pilates.

In 2004 this same group took over a smaller clinic in Hindmarsh called Peek Practice (from proprietor Sam Peek). Adrian was tasked with the responsibility to run this satellite clinic which specialized in treating occupational injuries and providing Manual Handling education.
